  • What is the difference between tint and henna?
    Tint gives a light impression on the skin. 1-4 days on the skin and 3-4 weeks on the hair. Perfect if you have lighter eyebrows with lighter hairs. Henna stays on the skin for 1 to 2 weeks depending on skin type and lifestyle. Remains on hair for 5-6 weeks. Gives more of a make-up look and is ideal for filling cavities.
  • How can I make an appointment?
    You can book an appointment online. This can be done by clicking here. Or by clicking on make appointment at the bottom right of the screen. ​ Select the treatment you want, select the day and time. Then fill in your details and click on book now. For certain treatments we ask for a deposit of 100 euros. This must be transferred manually after booking. The details can be found in the confirmation email. To cancel or move the appointment you must send an email to info@makeuplashesbrows.com
  • How can I pay on site?
    You can pay cash, Payconiq by Bancontact, Mobile pay with a QR code, Apple Pay orwith debit card.
  • How can I change my appointment?
    Send an e-mail to info@makeuplashesbrows.com mention any appointment you want to change as well as the new date and time. We'll make it right for you. Later you will receive a confirmation by e-mail of the change. With this e-mail you will also receive a link to move the appointment yourself if this is necessary.
  • How can I contact you?
    You can contact us via the contact form or by email to info@makeuplashesbrows.com We try to answer your messages as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are not available by phone because we want to give our full attention to our customers, the treatment and also for hygienic reasons. Have a quick question? Then you can also send a WhatsApp message. If you have a specific request, we ask that it can sometimes take 2-4 working days before we can answer you.
  • Is there a waiting period?
    The average waiting time for an appointment is 1 month. Sometimes last minute appointments become available. You can also choose to join the waiting list. Click on the button 'make an appointment' at the bottom right, select the desired day and date and register. You will receive an email if a place becomes available.
  • How can I book multiple treatments?
    Thanks to our new booking system you can now select and book multiple treatments. This can be done by selecting the appointments you wish to book and confirming afterwards.
  • What can I do as a member of the website?
    Joining the website is easy to save your address, to speed up checkout after a purchase. But also for following up on your subscriptions and following online training courses. Appointments cannot be found here because we work with a different software program for the online agenda.
  • How do I cancel my appointment?
    You can cancel your appointment by sending an e-mail to info@makeuplashesbrows.com stating which appointment you wish to cancel. Please take into account the general terms and conditions. Appointments can only be canceled free of charge 48 hours in advance, with PMU treatments 72 hours before the treatment.

    All parcels are sent with Bpost or Postnl. With parcels you will receive a track & trace and you should receive your order at home within 24 hours. Attention: the delivery times depend on the payment method. This takes longer with an offline transfer. As soon as we have received your payment, we will send your order. We are not responsible for delays by Bpost or Postnl. ​
  • What if I want to exchange or return my order?
    Not completely satisfied with your order? You have 14 days to change your mind. Let us know as soon as possible by e-mail to shop@makeuplashesbrows.com ​ Include your name, order number, item and reason for return. ​​​ Products can only be returned if they have not been used and are in their original condition with the original packaging. The return shipment is your responsibility. The shipping costs to return your order are for your own account. You can also choose to return the products yourself. Please indicate this by e-mail.   • What is the difference between microblading and powder brows?
    Microblading is applied by means of a manual pen with microneedles in a row. Fine hairs are drawn in the direction of hair growth. The hair pattern is adapted to the eyebrows. Powder brows is a powder technique. A digital machine and a pen with a thin 1 point needle are used. By playing with light and shadow, we create a real 3D eyebrow, making it indistinguishable from powder makeup. The intensity can be adjusted to your preference. This allows us to create a very light or defined eyebrow. Other names for Powder brows are Ombre brows or Pixel brows. Both techniques are to perfect the eyebrows. Ideal for filling in and hiding imperfections or scars in the eyebrows.
  • I have old pmu, is it possible to work over it?"
    If your previous PMU has faded enough and you don't have any scarring, it is possible to work on it. You must report this in advance before booking an appointment.   • Is the treatment painful?
    Pain is experienced differently by everyone. During the treatment, a cooling gel is used. After the procedure, redness and slight swelling around the eyebrows is normal. Customers describe it as a feeling similar to a light sunburn.
  • Is semi permanent makeup suitable for everyone?

  • Are my eyebrows ready after one time?
    No, your eyebrows will already look much nicer but after one time they are not quite ready. Pigment loss during the healing process is possible. That is why you should come at least 2 times and in some cases 3 times for optimal results. During the touch-up, some pieces or hairs are made more intense and small adjustments can still be made.
  • How is the color chosen?
    The color is discussed together, which is partly determined by the undertone of the skin, color of hair and eyes.
  • Do I have to wax or tweeze my eyebrows before the treatment?
    Before we start with the pigmentation, the eyebrows are plucked. You may wax or tweeze the eyebrows up to 2-3 days before the treatment. Be careful not to get too close to the mold so that minor adjustments can be made on the day itself. If you have full or indomitable eyebrows, it is recommended that you book an eyebrow shaping a few days before the treatment. We can shape your eyebrows perfectly before we start pigmenting.

  • How long does a treatment take?
    A treatment takes an average of 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
  • What should I take into account when booking an SMPU appointment?
    It is important to plan your appointment well. For example, it is advisable not to be treated before your holiday. The eyebrows require careful after care after the treatment. No sun, water and sports during the first weeks. Do not schedule your appointment for an important event or meeting. The eyebrows are darker pigmented during the first 3 days and shed during the first 10 days. ​ At pmu for the lips: 1 week before the treatment scrub with your toothbrush and moisturize with a lip balm. Wait 8 weeks after/before placing fillers. If you have ever had a cold sore, you should take medication before and after treatment to prevent a breakthrough. Please see your GP for this. With pmu for eyes: Do not wear contact lenses on the day of the treatment, remove eyelash extensions 1 week before the treatment. Do not use an eyelash serum. See also the pages below.   • Can I go back to work immediately afterwards?
    You can return to work perfectly after the treatment. Just keep in mind that the eyebrows are darker pigmented for the first 3 days. Shortly after the treatment, there is also slight redness and swelling around the eyebrows.
  • Which pigments are used?
    Only the best quality pigments are used. We choose the pigments from Permablend. The colors have been specially developed for pigmenting the eyebrows and will therefore lighten after a few months and will not discolour.
  • How long does semi permanent makeup last?
    It lasts on average 1 to 1.5 years. This depends on several factors such as; the color pigment, skin type, after care and sun exposure. That is why it is advised to have a touch-up performed after 1 year.
  • Can I keep my lenses on?
    This is certainly possible, many customers keep the lenses on during the treatment. If you have sensitive and dry eyes, it is recommended not to wear them.
